Summer school 2023

Summer school "Cryptography and information security" is a traditional event that is held at the University every year. The school is organized by Novosibirsk State University and Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok. This year summer school is organized in cooperation with Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and will take place in Kaliningrad.

Dates: 7 August - 17 August 2023.
Participation format: offline.

There is a possibility of partial support for the arrival and residence of nonresident participants.

Students will receive lectures, sports activities, participate in team and individual work on projects related to solving research problems in the field of cryptography and information security. One of the most important events of the school-conference is a round table on modern problems of cryptography. The topics of the projects are related to various issues of modern cryptography and information security: from methods of symmetric cryptography and cipher design to the development of modern post-quantum cryptosystems. Leading Russian developers in this area will participate, namely, the teams directly involved in the development of the state standard for post-quantum cryptography of the Russian Federation.

University students and 11th grade students are invited to participate.

Applications are accepted until May 17, 2023.

Registration is over. The decision on admission to the Summer School will be sent to you by mail no later than May 22, 2023.
